On the drive down from our attempt to reach the ski area CF pulled of to one of the popular valley viewing areas as we both needed pictures.

One of my favourite places to poke around in. The snow made it really hard to look at the headstones, so deep, but made for pretty pictures...

We caught the Valley shuttle bus and got off at Happy Isles to wander (wade) in the snow.

Fire On the Mountain

Just after we'd got the chains the truck again (adjustments...) CF noticed the sunsetting on the mountains. We mad a mad dash to the meadow and snapped a few shots. It's times like this I wish I had a better piece of equipment...

A quick "Look at that!" caused us to pull over and get pictures of sunset in the mist filled meadow.
